Amal Sorani

Proficient and experienced in strategic thinking, execution and managing resources within leadership and management roles, Amal has worked for reputable organisations such as the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company and Tamkeen. She was also a News Reader and Editor of National & International News, a Field Journalist and TV Producer at Bahrain Radio and TV Corporation at the Ministry of Information, Kingdom of Bahrain.

Amal is known for her meticulous mindset and is viewed as a vibrant and dynamic leader, a creative strategist and has a record of delivering outstanding results in performance and growth.  She is a graduate from the Executive Leadership Programme from the University of Virginia, Darden Business School, USA, and holds a B.A in English Literature and American Studies from the University of Bahrain. 

With sound interpersonal communication skills, Amal has led many teams to perform to the utmost level of expectations. In addition to possessing the ability to interact and perform within a multicultural setting, Amal worked for over 8 years in the Marketing Communications Department at Tamkeen conducting marketing and public relations work, with the responsibility of creative communication and marketing campaigns. 

Along with her Marketing and Media backgrounds, Amal is a public speaker and Master of Ceremonies for major forums and conferences. 


Currently Amal leads the Marketing and Corporate Communications Team at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), where she is responsible for the Strategic Marketing of the Institute’s seven centres.
